The Easter holiday had finally arrived and I was now round to doing my first session on the main lake at Fryerning, in Essex. After a walk round the lake I found myself set up in a swim called Logs, round the back of the lake.

Both lakes contain over 150+ 20lb's along with 10 different 30's up to 37lb+ with continual growth rate it wont be long before we have another 40.

The Valley Lake is an intimate water of three to 12 feet, with reed-lined margins lending itself to a wide range of techniques. It was designed with the expert assistance of leading anglers, Jim Gibbison and the owner of Carp Talk, Chris Ball.
Stocked with our own strain of fish the lake has it's own catch report with regularly UPDATED FIGURES. Last Year over 800 Carp were landed.
The Car Park Lake has a maximum depth of nine feet and an average depth of just five feet, so it's ideal for the angler looking for great surface fishing.

One example of eight summer carp now making 30lb. These fish shall be refered to as Fryerning Genectics One strain or F.G.1 when writing your catch report. It also goes to prove that our selected specimens are viqourous in growth, considering their reaching this weight in under ten years.
