The Easter holiday had finally arrived and I was now round to doing my first session on the main lake at Fryerning, in Essex. After a walk round the lake I found myself set up in a swim called Logs, round the back of the lake.

TEAM GREEN FRYERNING
As a natural resource in the English countryside we thought it was time to do our bit for the environment and to this end we have applied for permission to install a wind turbine to provide power for our state-of-the-art hatchery. All being well, it will stand 12m high with 8m wide sails and will decrease Fryerning’s use of fossil-fuel-generated power. We are also considering a hydrotech drum filter to increase fish production. As promised at the start of the year we are constantly making changes to improve things at the fishery.
