Of late the main lake has been in blistering form with some seriously big hits of fish being had. Just a quick glance at the catch reports page shows some amazing catches throughout August and into September.

Pete Everett was the latest angler to cash in on the spectacular sport to be had on the main lake, when he had truly phenomenal 36 hour session in the lion swim.

The 37 year old regional trainer and part time charter boat skipper had three stunning main lake residents for an incredible 127lb total, smashing P.B.s, along the way.

The dream session started with the truly amazing looking No Name at 41lb 4oz, which was captured superbly on camera by Chris during an early morning stroll.

One of the main lakes true characters was next to fall for Petes tactics when he had Charlies Mate at a very respectable 37lb 12oz.

Whilst packing up pete saw a huge common rise to the left of his swim and chanced his arm, chucking a rig on top of where hed seen the fish show. Minutes later he was doing battle with one of the most sought after main lake fish, The mommon a truly enormous common.

The mighty Mommon a simply awesome fish.

Petes captures were even made even more rewarding with all the previous hard work he had put in before this amazing session and the fact that all three fish were caught on his own homemade Boilies.

Dreams can come true - Pete loving the Fryerning experience.
